My good friends Dave Mydlo and Aaron McCormack helped me out with this one. We decided to film a Holiday Music Video. They came over and starting setting up in my living room after rolling in all of the equipment. When I came back downstairs I walked right into this:
It was a FULL BLOWN Production! After rearranging the furniture and making sure the lighting was right we were ready to film. I had been practicing Silent Night on the guitar and I was ready to rock and roll but I wasn’t sure how we were going to do it.
Aaron was the audio mixer for our shoot and he suggested that we record the song once through so that the music would line up in the video. That’s exactly what we did. We recorded the song (a few times to get it right) and then we played that back for every take of the music video. I would still sing and play the guitar in every take but we knew that we had already recorded the main track for the video.
Dave edited the video and I think he did a great job! Let us know what you think in the comments below:
Thanks for watching!
Until next time,
