HGTV sensation Jo Alcorn is a dear friend of mine. You may have seen her on a recent episode of Home To Win. (Umm… soo cool right? That show is amazing) She is so insanely talented and NOW you can bring that talent into your own home.
Jo has sold doggie beds for awhile now (They are fricken adorable and you can find them here). Her latest edition? Custom Canadian Furniture and Pillows! I was lucky enough to be invited to her launch party and I’m telling you… every single piece in this collection is on point!
Ashli from Whittington’s was such a fantastic host for the event. Whittington&Co specialize in Canadian made custom upholstery. The showroom was not overcrowded which provided the perfect viewing pleasure for all the pieces on display. The best part? You could actually sit on the furniture and have a glass of wine. If you ask me… that’s the best way to test out a new piece of furniture :). Jo was also telling us that because the pieces are Canadian made there is a short waiting period from the time you order your piece to the time it’s in your home.
Did I mention the indoor/outdoor pillows? Again, all completely custom. There are beautiful fabrics to choose from. The pillows themselves are recyclable, cruelty free AND hypoallergenic.
I went to the event with my partner in crime – Karin Bennett and we both just adored the entire collection. This was Karin’s favourite piece:
And this is mine. Trust me… if I needed a new couch I would be buying this sectional. It looks so luxurious and it was so friggen comfortable!
Here’s a sneak peak at some of the fabrics you can choose from. Keep in mind, EVERYTHING is custom so you can cater a piece to your space. Oh… and something that is SUPER cool to Jo’s line is the fact that everything disassembles. So if you have a small condo, no worries! These pieces come completely apart so you can fit luxury and comfort into your small space.
Sidenote- I got to meet another Home To Win/ HGTV Star Mia Parres. I openly admitted that I was her biggest stalker. We laughed it off but I wasn’t kidding haha. She’s as lovely in person as she is on camera.
Thanks for hangin out!
